Hamburg Steak (ハンバーグ)

Hey guys!!!

Today, I gonna make a "Hamburg Steak with Demi-glace sauce".

This is one of the most popular Japanese foods; especially, loved by children.

The origins of Hamburg are the "tar- tar stake" prevalent from Germany.

<Ingredients>

-Hamburg-

Grounded Beef or Pork (I used Beef and Pork Blend): 800g

Onion: 1

Egg: 1

Breadcrumbs (Panko): 4tbsp

Milk: 3tbsp

Grated ginger: 1tbsp

Grated garlic: 1tbsp

Soy sauce: 1tbsp

Black pepper: 1/2 tbsp

Chicken powder: 1/2 tbsp

-Demi glace Sauce-

Mushrooms: 10

Onion: 1.5〜2

Red wine: 300ml

Tomato Ketchup: 5 tbsp

Mustard: 1 tbsp

Let's cook!

-Demi glace sauce-

(1) Cut the onion and mushrooms and simmer in red wine.

(2) Put other ingredients after 1/3 moisture of wine has been evaporated.

-Hamburg steak-

(1) Mince an onion and fry until onion turns a blown color with butter and  chicken powder on low heat.

(2) While stir-frying the onions, make a hamburg patty.

Put all ingredients into a container and knead them all equally.

(3) Put the stir-fried onion and continue to knead until meat sticks out.

(4) Form a hamburg shape.

(5) Cook the hamburg on medium heat 2〜3min both side.

(6) Put in a half cup of water and cover on medium heat for 5min.

(7) Wrap the Hamburg and steamed vegetable with aluminum foil and bake it in oven (170℃/340℉) for 10min.

(8) Put some Demi-glace sauce and sunny-sideup egg on Hamburg.

(9) Eat...Eat...Eat ;) !!!
